Hi, I’m Shelley!

For the last 20+ years, I've created operations systems that actually work.

I didn't start in leadership, and that's a good thing. Early in my career, I was the person taking notes in meetings, coordinating schedules, and making sure details didn't fall through the cracks. I worked my way up, which means I understand what it's like at every level.

My professional life has spanned totally different worlds—city government, nonprofits, creative agencies, tech startups—so I can walk into almost any situation and quickly adapt to the culture and constraints.

I'm using what I’ve learned to help other leaders navigate the challenges of leadership. I’m calm when things get messy. I think strategically to help you navigate rough waters. I’ll help you identify what’s important when the path forward isn’t clear. And I’ll add a little levity to the room when we need to lighten things up.

When I'm not consulting, you'll find me voraciously reading several books at once, publishing essays on Substack, practicing my arias, testing new recipes, kayaking, galavanting around with friends, chilling with my husband, and doting on our feline overlords, Detective Pinkerton and Mr. Smudge.
